Ive one fitted on PRex and although its open, not sure if its GC.

That said, i didnt add the spacer and all is well (i also know john has one fitted to a standard cover also with no spacer).

Did you fit it all in one go sir?......................but would/will be easy to measure distance to a given point to machine a shim etc.

    You are running Kawasaki pushrod?

Try it with the spacer installed and if the clutch still slips, then you probably have an issue with the clutch assembly.

Mine is without spacer and standard cover,it works well.

dont put the spacer on,I don’t see how an open cover can make the clutch slip.

    semi synthetic oil?

Hi Nige, the GC covers been on for over a year and has been working fine with the original slave cylinder, only fitted the Oberon one on Friday Yes I'm running original Kawasaki push rod, I swapped it when you spoke to me about it at the Moffat meet.

John I only use 10/40 semi synthetic motorcycle oil! (Motul)

jds it's fine with the old slave cylinder.

I'll look at it over the next few days, Thanks for your replies.

Interesting. Have subscribed to this thread, as this one is a doozey.

Good luck Freddie and looking forward to finding out what's causing this.
