    I don't see why it doesn't add extra strength, not saying its massive, the way they mount should add some.

    put it this way, frame without engine, see how you can flex it

    fix them to a frame without an engine in(using bolt as a spacer), its harder to twist.

    So even with an engine in it'll be adding something, maybe not much, it also depends on how they're mounted, they don't all mount the same.

    same as the fact an over unbraced swing arm, is stiffer than the standard one.

    Yeah, I've struggled with what these braces add, apart from weight and reduced access to the motor. At least the Tsukigi ones are straighter than the bent Active type which seem even more pointless. I think they look shit anyway.

    The Tsukigi ones you can literally bend with your hands, so how they can add any strength across the crankcases is beyond me.

    The only frame 'braces' I've seen that look they would actually do anything are the ones thart Deetee has on his bike.
