    What's the best way to remove a tank protector?

    Would it be heat?

    Yeah , just not a naked flame lol.
    Depending on how long its been on there , you may notice a different paint shade when removed.

    Have my trusty heat gun..........and shade don't matter gonna be a totally different colour

    WD40 can soften the adhesive a little

    Professinals use this to remove stickers and stuf offa lorries and vans and stuff.

    Glue Residue is another matter, there are dedicated sprays for the task or perhaps acetone
