Front foot peg hangers

Just managed to strip the front footpegs , gear lever brake levers off and
With some effort the peg mounts.
I have a question. the heal plates and the hangers are / were silver (heal plates are satin
finish) has anyone Got an idea how to get them back to how they should be ?
Would like to get them back to original look.

Normally a "greenie" type of scouring pad should give the alloy a satin finish you require ,however it will remove any lacquer which will result in an easily tarnish-able finish. You will need to give it a couple of coats of clear lacquer which should also be available with a satin finish.
