Seem to have bought another bike

Just got a project ZL1000 Eliminator delivered.
Needs a bit of work and hasn't run for a while, but the motor shouldn't present any problems.

If it has the same motor as my old GPZ1000 the engine was a bugger to get running properly , carbs were a nightmare and found themselves in the bin and replaced with a set of ZRX ones, valves were a breeze to adjust due to them being screw and locknut rather than shims.

Watch out for the starter clutch failing as it is a CC split to replace , which i did with one from a GPZ1100 (new model)

Thanks for that mate, will be looking for a set of ZRX carbs for it as I intend to swap out the lumps and fit my spare 1109 kit to it. I've heard that you can bolt the bevel box straight onto a Rex motor and bung the whole lot in.
At first I just want to get it running and ride it for a bit.
Will take a bit of time, but i'm in no rush.

If its the same head as my GTR1000 shaftie, carbs will be 32mm.
