Just managed to remove the springs for powder coating and have a question.
The toothed adjuster and the inner part of that adjuster
Are they anodised

Spring seats are plated , is that what you mean ?

I think they have some kind of zinc plating on them standard. When mine were apart I sanded & polished and got those bits chromed at Esme's suggestion, certainly smartens them.

Just a light rub with solvo brings them up like new.

hi mate i had mine ceramic coated silver and have had no problems with them

I was thinking anodising ( I think that's a colouring of the metal) a very light or pale gold but need to find somewhere close to me.
Where did you get your work done ?
