    Thought I'd missed the boat.....

    Thankfully, after a grovelling please allow me in Email to admin, I've got myself a login to the Club. Happy Days.
    By way of introduction I'm from Bedfordshire and have been riding since 1983 .
    I've had way too many bikes to bore the good people on here with , but they have alll been predominantly Kawasaki's.
    My current daily is a z1000sx and I've just landed a 97 ZRX1100 after a year of so of looking. The bike is all there, runs ok but needs some serious love mechanically and cosmetically. I've restored several kawasaki over the years and I'm looking forward to getting stuck in. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up some tips and advice from the members here.
    I don't do any other social media , Facebook etc but have been an active member of the Kawasaki Owners club for years.( now Club Kawasaki) Which is a great forum.

    Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.
    I'm chuffed to bits with the bike. Now I've got past the "stand back an admire it" stage in the workshop, i'll get stuck in to a few of it's issues. Not going for a full strip down as I want to use it ASAP for the regular Hunstanton and Super Sausage Sundays with the lads.
    I have managed to clean out the bug infested Radiator (no rad guard on it!...really?) Can't believe how much a rad guard is nowadays. ?60 !!! must be Brexit or Covid. they get the blame for everything else. I have managed to save the Horn mounting brackets which have come up a treat with some fresh paint.
    Onwards and upwards, I'm still working out how to get round this forum.

    Welkommen von zee federation der Deustchland, apparently after a walk in the park, I noticed that Geese don't goose step, but Moorhens do.............Abolishing all evidence of Adolfs troops marching invasions. Not wanting to re-write history, admin, please erase this reply..........
