    Powder Coating

I have just had my wheels powder coated and had new Metzelers Roadtec 01SE tyres fitted to my Rex, but I am unable to get the balance weights to stick to the wheels. They fall off in about 3 days. Any advice would be appreciated.

Put a smear of silicon on the weight and stick it in place with masking tape until it sets.

    Re: Powder Coating

The issue will be with crap glue or double sided tape used on the weights, powdercoat is not a non stick surface just a hard wearing one.
Had to use bostic etc etc when some weights fail to stay on paint chrome and anodised rims.
Making sure the area is grease oil n dust free 1st the if it moves glue or a panel adhesive like tigerseal will defo work but at ?12 a tube is a tad spensiv
    mt space.......

If you use carpet double sided tape on the back of the wheel weights, that will solve your adhesion problems.
