    Does she tick over normally? How can they say its not electrical, then its carbs or airbox restriction or exhaust restriction . Only ideas

    If you're still using the OEM air box set-up , then make sure the air filter air box lid is correctly fitted and sealed. This can sometime have an effect

    Fuel tap vacuum hose? Easy to get a small tear in there not always visible.

    The 2 carb breathers that run down either side of air box could be squashed , not quiet squashed but enough to restrict the fuel flow.

    Does the bike rev ok . When balancing the carbs have you balanced them with the tick over screw wound back off . Just check that the throttle cable are opening the butterflies valves fully

    Thanks for all the replies ..I will be checking everything again in new year as soon as I’m off work .as I’m working over Xmas and new year

    sounds to me like the slides aren't lifting, I'd check diaphragms and vacuum lines first. Good luck!

    All joking aside it is easily done. You need to make sure the martks are level with the aluminium top of the head, not the rubber gasket.
