Pitty what was once a great site now seems dead there seems to be more visitors than members viewing now

Politics and conspiracy. There is a plenty of interest judging from site traffic. In this very moment there are 100 users lurking and my Suzuki bike thread has almost 33 thousand views....

It is a shame , used to be able to spend a few hours ,of an evening, enjoying the banter but not any more. There must be >10 posts per day now.

I still pop in most nights but as already been said not a lot going on
The enthusiasm is dying out and no new zrx bikes ( twin shock muscle type)to keep up the interest

I guess all the visitors are members who don't log in anymore?
I also used to pass many hours on this site each night but wasn't on for years and was shocked the it had died away

As Kendo said, its a shame.

I appreciate you have to have an element of censorship on public forums, but if you take it to seriously and police it with a strong arm, then you're going to loose those colourful characters that made that forum enjoyable with their banter and sometimes very useful technical insight .

At the other end, you get all sorts of forums that reward high levels of insincere, pompous, egotistic , exaggerated ability, and narcissistic behaviour ..

What you need a balance of the two types of forum.

At the end of the day, these are all only public forums and not always a real reflection on how normal people behave when you meet them in person.

I'm guilty of all the above. So F**k you all .

Seems like everyone is doing Faecesbook now, forums are the past.☹️ I still have a look in now and again, but it's not what it was 14 years ago when I joined.
We even had meetings, ride outs, weekends away back in the day.

I drop in now and again just to see if anything's picked up, but I think it's had it's day. Shame, I came late to the party a few years ago, but it looked like it had a really great group of members over the years.

The regulars who were the heart and soul left for whatever reasons, and now it's a shell, like an empty pub with one guy sitting in the corner happy he's got the place to himself and talking to the walls.

Hopefully management have change of heart and allows for new members to join.
