    Fuel taps

    Cant remember if it's the ZZR or gsxr manual tap that fits the zrx.

    Get a zzr tap and fit the part that you turn. You will then have on, Res, and off. Off is positioned at the prime location. .

    Any ZZR tap? And your saying to make one tap out off the ZZR and the zrx tap?

    I simply modified my existing tap to get the same by blanking off the tall "on" pipe so it can't flow fuel and becomes an "off" setting.

    I relabelled the tap so reserve is on, on is off and prime stays the same.

    I still don't know why kawasaki fitted a reserve on a bike with a fuel gauge.

    That gauge is a gimmick. Mine is bad for years now...

    this is what is on mine,though I prefer the OEM tap you only have to replace the little o ring for it to not leak.Kwick supplies them I think but you can buy them elsewhere as well.
