    side stand switch

Have any of you guys had a problem with your side stand switch? Mine is faulty and intermittently stops the bike from starting. What have you done? Replaced it? Taken it off altogether and smashed it under your bloody frustrated, peed off big hefty boot??

I took of on my husky with side stand down once and had wtf moment shortly after. I would say do not disable it, it’s an important safety feature.
Beside if they find you in the ditch with the thing cut off I think English may not pay insurance money...dunno.

It's in a vulnerable area, lots of road muck, spray etc all getting thrown up.

May just need a good clean out and spray with contact cleaner. I'd prefer to get it working than take it off and risk an embarrassing/painful accident riding off with the standstand down.
