    Please someone tell me that you DONT have to move/remove the airbox to change the fuel line......Im running the K+N cone filter before anyone asks...

    I think you'll find you do my friend, where abouts is the kink, could you not cut it out and fit an inline filter for a quick fix?

    Bugger...Thanks for the quick response. Somewhere in the dim and distant past I 'fixed' the problem by joining a new piece of fuel line to the old/original. Maybe I realised that I had to move the airbox etc...
    I just bought a new oem fuel line ..dont want to go cutting it in half so I guess I'll sort it by moving or removing the box.Not as if I havent got the time now ....

    No you definitely do not have to remove the airbox.

    This is my spare carb set. Black T is your focus point



    This is how attached fuel line looks on the bike. Look into the mirror. Access is from the right side of the bike.

    OEM clamp is wire spring kind with Mickey Mouse ears. Feel it with your fingers and rotate so it is accessible for 90 deg needle nose pliers.
    Squeeze Mickey mouse ears with pliers and pull down. You may need to assist pulling with long, skinny flathead screwdriver.

    Now try to pry the old hose off and down....

    Thank you...when the fuel line arrives I will see how much access my old,stiff fingers can get...I'll let you al know how I get on..
