Bar End Mirrors
Hi,
Can anyone recommend a set,
I have a cheap set on and they keep folding in.
There's so many out there but which are best. T. I. A.

Re: Bar End Mirrors
The genuine Triumph bar end mirrors are the best I have ever used. They do not vibrate, they do not fold in unless you want them to and you get a good rear view. They are not cheap though - but you get what you pay for. Bad side is they say Triumph on 'em - if that bothers you

Re: Bar End Mirrors
I bought a pair o' these (or at least something identical from another vendor).
https://www.ebay.ie/itm/1-Pair-Motor...EAAOSwRLlZnqP8
Had to drill a small hole in the casings & filled the void with expanding foam to stop the glass rattling in the housing.
But apart from that they're alright up to about 70mph. After that the picture blurs quite badly due to vibration.
So I increase progress to about 90 and forget what's behind me!

Re: Bar End Mirrors
I had some of those too (in fact I still have them somewhere) but the difference in those and the proper Triumph ones, is that the Triumph ones dont blur, even at high speeds.

Re: Bar End Mirrors
I just put it down to the vibes normally present on the bike anyway. They're better than nothing and I do love the look of the bike with low profile mirrors.
Being a (relative) novice to bikes in general, I thought breaking a few cheap mirrors was preferable to breaking an expensive one!
But nice to know that you get what you pay for regarding the Triumph mirrors.
