    Just 2, positive and negative as well as the little sensors for the thermometer part. I'll probably try running it to the fan connector block when I get round to taking the tank off, throttle cables may need a play with anyway so reason enough to pull it.

    if only 2 must be live all time.i would say it will be ok.will draw very little power as digital.we don't switch clocks of at home do we.i would just try it

    I would drop an inline fuse on the live feeds anyway. The current draw is only low, but if a wire catches or chaifes - it'll still blow. Better to lose the clock feed than a power feed to the motor
