    Wiring in an LED clock?

Got hold of a little LED clock which I'd like to wire into the ZRX so it runs from the bike's battery power. I'm not particularly great with electrics though so wondering where would it be best to run a feed to it from so it has power all the time? It shows battery voltage/temperature and time which you can switch between.

Are you sure you want power all the time instead of only when the ignition is on?

As far as I can tell it has no battery inside so you'd lose the time settings if it wasn't being fed by the bike battery.

I think the only permanent wire is to the ignition switch, best way is probably to go direct to the battery using an inline fuse close to the positive connection.
Easy to take the tank off and route a wire in.

If it used a switched live I'd have suggested wiring to the city light which comes on as soon as the engine is started on a 1200 or when the lights are switched on with the 1100.

I was thinking the fan is able to run with ignition off, maybe wiring to the live coming from that block would work and be convenient as its close to the dash anyway.

The city light actually comes on when the ignition is on (the headlight comes on when the engine starts) but if that's what you mean it's really not worthy of a head slap is it?
