    K&N Cone Filters

    Hi I'm looking to change the standard air filter for cone filters can anyone recommend alternatives to K&N? Many thanks Regards nickzephyr

    S&B used to to cone filters also Emgo (cheap).I use Ramair filters on my RD.

    Whatever you chose don't be tempted to get the ones off eBay that go for around 10 - 20 quid for a set.

    They seem appealing due to cost, but my bike came with a set fitted, and they don't last long before they caused rich running from being completely useless at flowing enough air. Binned them and spent the money on K&N and now fueling is bang on.

    I have Ramair foam filters on mine, they do a good job on mine easy to fit and cheap as chips compared to the individual pods.

    I would suggest you get some genuine K&N - they are better than any copy, but here are the specs, you need 54mm

    RC-0984 = chrome endcaps

    RU-0984 = blk rubber endcaps (cheaper)
