Or does anyone know if the likes of K Tech or Brooke’s will sell me one or a pair?

Anyone had anything done to save the rods?
K-Tech gave me the contact details of a company that can hard chrome the rods. (I don't recall who it was now but they'll tell you).
Think I was quoted about £90 plus return postage for both.
I didn't have them done but not cheap for how small they are.

Please check out A.M Philpot in Luton they are a hard chrome specialist and I believe they are used by a lot of restorers.
usually advertise in classic bike or classic mechanics.
If you cant find them let me know and I will look up the number.

Just been quoted £85 per rod by Philpot’s.
    Definitely not a cheap job!

Wow didn't realise hard chrome was that much more pricey than the normal.
Maybe worth hunting around for another quote?
