    Rats with this guy on a weighed bike going up on hairpin and falling. Can't go behind slow car. You will fall down...

    Going up the Stelvio can be tricky as most of the hairpins have an insane camber, almost like a kerb, on the inside of the turn. Couple that with the fact you can't see what is coming down until the last minute, cyclists, cars, buses and motorhomes, can make for a hairy ride.

    Never been there but only one way to retain stability without carrying enough speed up right (RHD) hair pin is to go wide.
    If one can't go wide because of incoming traffic and speed is limited by the vehicle in front there on only way for bike to go, down....

    it's mostly bloody cyclists there that are a pain in the rear. I did the stelvio on the rex with passenger and luggage and fairly square tyres, was the first time in years I felt a bit of a novice.
