    Thanks

Couple weeks ago I had Germanophone tourist watching the bike intensely for a while and when I bit concerned approached he ask if that's a new bike.
I was ticked that he had to ask even after his jaw dropped that it is 8 years new. Clearly not enough effort on my part...

Hopefully after last two weekends work I will not get crap from Germans, at least for a while

Benefit of the center stand I didn't think before

Bike fits vertically amid wee bikes in tight spots where parking space is a premium.

I am done for now as the back side is to close to the other components for my comfort.....

Change of plans and in situ cleaned rear portion or the downpipe cuz I couldn't stand the way it looked. Will remove at next opportunity and give it more though out wash with new clamp hardware.

    This is for now..

Made mistake of touching the exhaust to fiddle with rear wheel and had to redo the Mickey Mouse mount.
Acrapovicz call for solid bushings to replace factory mount but whoever installed it went third way.

Fabricated inner bushing from belt tensioner and evap hose, plus some hardware from the bin.
Good for now, will buy stainless torx bolt and washers tho...
Received SS washers today from Red China. Package Took forever to arrive. SS bolt got here in half the time. Just the righ size job to to do Saturday morning before neighbors wake up.

So far big Honda ran flawlessly and has been real joy. Bit disappointed yesterday after noting brake light staying on, where is that Honda reliability I thought.

So how to best to keep big guns away and try kiss method first.
Unfamiliar with the switch setup I looked up manual first and wrong assumption number one that rear switch is hydraulicly operated... it said to drain fluid in step one...
Walked to the bike disconnected what is easier first , front switch, light still on..

Then pulled the side panel go gain access to rear switch connector

Pulled that one, light went away...

I was ready to order the rear switch and got a flashlight to look behind kick panel - only to notice connection spring to; behold; mechanical switch....
After quick adjustment, after comedy of initial time wasting, stop light is working properly again...

    Broke my bike yesterday.

Crossed a pipe laying across the road and pulled Akrapovic out of the midpipe.

Thanks God no permanent damage to the slip-on, just the end ovalised. I can reshape that. Tension spring and clamp are broken. I had no problem with sourcing replacement spring but I do not see exact clamp.

Anyhow this bike clearance is really low. I need to get used to it...

Why everything has to be complicated?

I found parts schematic, ordered the spring, got the spring correctly marked and it doesn't fit.

Ordered PS1 spring. Lesson cost 7 bucks.

Anyhow, I already fixed the clamp and updated upper mount, just the spring remains.
