Pulled the cover off and had a look at the old girl.
Made a mental list of things to do , new chain new battery new tyres remove and have the flat slides ultrasonically cleaned new inlet rubbers change oil and coolant replace all brake seals rebuild clutch slave.
Then i put the cover back over lol.

Looks like raisers were made to fit that way, with split plane parallel to the ground surface it looks proper. I had to pinch myself and check that indeed I put mine right.

I put couch fork brace backwards once and loved it but selfcensore myself and reverted it

Refitted my Blackwidow pipes and returned to the Scorpion can, albeit 150mm shorter.

I needed to refit the pipes because the first time it was done on my driveway and without removing the radiator. Decided to do the job properly in the garage and changed the coolant at the same time.

Everything went fine and got the Scorpion to sit the same as it did with the stock headers, so no need for additional bracketing. But when I went to torque the header retaining nuts I couldn't find a torque value in the service manual. So I just went for "solid".

Is there an agreed torque that used for these nuts or did I miss it in the manual?

Ive never seen one in the manual and I just use 1/4" drive and nip them (I also use brass nuts )
