    Good news then, forks are known good.
    Whatever forks that come from original crash were bent most likely. I would put them legs in prisms check with dial indicator anyway just to be sure.

    Looks well tho that is for sure and very rebuildable I expect

    Are those the "dry" wheels next to the bent ones or bought separate?

    forks are origional i know this bike and owner from new

    2 are marvics and origional damaged front and good rear

    Interesting - frame got busted but forks didn't. Perhaps they made manufacturing progress since early 90-tys.

    Are you planning to fix the original front wheel?

    you would not believe how thin the alloy beam is it's just sheared.yes will look at getting wheel repaired

    FWIW Ive seen wheels far worse than that straightened.

    One more reason for grabbing the frame into welding fixture. I wonder if frame geometry specs are readily available.

    I was asking about the wheel because they look unique yet damage appears repairable.
    On the other hand I know that some people shunt reusing previously damaged wheels and this old smoky will go fast.
