    Lowering front footpegs

I sometimes suffer from sore knees on longer runs (always thought running half marathons was a bad idea!) and was thinking about lowering the footpegs. Was considering trying these on ebay - not much to lose if they are no good. Anyone else lowered their pegs and any suggestions on the length of the extension. From reading a post on here about another set, looks like 25mm may be best as 40mm may be to much for foot control adjustment?

Thanks for the advice guys. Also going to put a little more foam in seat to raise it a little.

    Cheers

If you suffer badly with the knee's etc, it could also be worth looking into some of those footpegs that clamp on engine bars/frame which allow you to stretch your legs out cruiser style on motorways etc.

Not the best looking things, but helps with keeping the knee's from aching too much over long distances.

I picked up a pair of Knight Design lowered pegs (advertised as ZZR1400 pegs, but fitted regardless) for my own bike. Work a treat.
