    zrx 12 Rear Shocks

    having just upgraded, these are not required any more.

    Standard ZRX1200R rear shocks, no leaks, no pitting, all adjusters work.

    springs powdercoated yellow.

    some slight marks on the top of one body -(see pictures in link below)

    ready to fit.

    Did you remove the plastic cover that protects the piston rods when the springs were powder coated?

    I dont remember doing it, but it looks like I did.

    cant see how that bit protects the rod, all it does is stop you cleaning the shocks properly.

    been on my bike like that since I powdercoated the springs nearly 10 years ago, so it doesnt seem to have caused any problems.

    The 11's never had that shield, so I cannot see it making a lot of difference on the 12's. If anything - it looks better
