    Carburetor Boot Removal/Install Tool

Still hear how bitchin job is carb removal. Found myself trying to describe most useful tool to remove and install airbox boots. Tool is called hose remover and is most commonly used for automotive cooling hoses. Here is a good set, although we would be ok with long one and short one with straight 90 deg bend for our carb job.

Remember to preheat those boots with heat gun to make rubber soft and playable. This is the key. Then work the above tool from the top to install the boots over carbs.

See Steve using the hose tool to install the boots and gives general tips to install our carbs:

He has also separate carb removal and cleaning videos. Super hot.
