If you go the wheel chock route, it can be a bit of an effort dragging a beastie bike like the Rex on and off it.

I actually gave my chock away cos it either slid around the garage when I tried rolling onto it, or was a total bitch to get the bike back off.

Yeah you can bolt it down of course, but you still have the weight of the bike to cope with taking it back off. You either need to use brute strength or to try rocking it off - but with bad hands, neither way would be easy for ya

I believe you said you had an Abba stand ? That'd do the same job of keeping the bike upright for you, but with a bit less effort maybe ?

I found the same when I had one, it just moved when you tried to put the bike onto it. To solve this rather than having it bolted permanently to the floor a couple of coach bolts just pushed into pre drilled holes stopped it moving. Didn't use it that often though to be honest. Just used a couple of bits of wood under the stand to keep it more upright than normal.

I suppose at the end of the day you can just lean it against the shed wall if storing upright is the thing.

Has the individual in question received any kind of warning from the Mods that continued interference in threads started by the OP could have consequences?

He has been told on numerous occasions not to engage with the OP yet he continues to comment in conversations where he has no business doing so, i.e, topics created by the same OP. The OP has no wish to know this individual's thoughts on anything.

    To what end?

Harassment. Pure and simple in my opinion.
