Proly you were frightening cows or them bees. Sticklers and dumb too. I was carrying gauge blocks in my carry on and they freak out as I expected. I knew that if I put them in check in they would blow up my whole bag. Almost missed my plane.

I went to the Nodkapp in 2017 with my mate who did all 6000 miles on an R1. My advice for what it's worth - Finland and Sweden was very windy lots of pine trees not that scenic. Parts of Finland had NO road surface at all. Great if you have an adventure bike. It was 0 c in Lapland in July and snowing. Take gear for all wethers, heated grips are a lifesaver. Norway is stunning especially the North West, quiet roads everyone speaks English. As you probably know speeding attracts very big fines. All of the fixed cameras are well signed it's the speed guns that catch people out. Locals don't speed at all
Best bit camping in the arctic circle under the midnight sun - we did it in just over two weeks but go for longer if you can.
