    Re: Rear light mod :)

I like it and may I ask if the plan is for the Perspex sit up against the end of the tail (albeit inside it?)

I have a bobbed one but bought an LED one so it can shortened to the maximum (my aspiration being flush with the end of the tail) but now I have seen this

Am sure Nigel (aka z1racer) did something to move his light further inboard but cannot find it but regardless it is nice to see new thinking and something a little different

FWIW I have similar indicators on my RC8 and I like them but prefer small oblong on rex - guess its that boxy thing

I recently bobbed my LED one, could only take an inch off because the LED strip is quite far out (didn't want to remodel the insides too)

this should look nice and flush... curious about the end result!

I recall doing this in about 1984 on an X7 I had - but no LED's back then, so perspex was fine - but it was bulbs and bulbholders. That one never really worked out, it'll be interesting to see how this one turns out.

Try and find a pic of Pathfinder Rob's Rex, he did this a decade or so ago.

He's giving the wife's car an MoT so I'll see him later, if his bike is in the workshop I'll snap a pic of it.

Did it to this about 100 years ago the perspex will sit flush inside the lip I used two LED lights as the large light has a very bright stop light but a dim side light so I wired the small LED stop light circuit into the big lamps side light circuit so everything is nice and bright (few) perspex should be here tomorrow ready for me to cut (see break ) it
