On the road again hasta la vista baby

Well I am nervous off to Plymouth tommorow for the boat to Spain.

many things have happened since I last went, many, many, things.

i donít seem to be getting any younger and my health ainít getting better, but we are only here once so make the most of it.

the bikes in as good condition as it could be,mostly thanks to Nigels fettling and Al for tyres and brakes, both for encouragement.

Have a damn fine time John.

I must look at the possibility of doing something similar, now that there's a service from Cork to Santander.

Or at least I think there is.

You should give it a go step of the ferry the mountains are in front of you.
cheaper than France and less crowds.

    Cheap as chips!

    Ä200 for a return sailing.

That's provided you don't mind roughing it a bit and going without the comfort of a cabin.

Don't think they allow you to book without cabin.

Can't find a definite answer to that on the Brittany ferries website. All they say is that accommodation is mandatory for the Cork to Roscoff route.

But they also say, elsewhere, that there are sleep packs available for use with recliners in the lounges, consisting of blanket and pillow.
