    Bovington tank museum.

2pm I decided to go to the Bovington tank museum and make a few days of it.
by 4pm I had found a room packed and loaded my bike,by 7pm I was in Bournemouth via country roads, though I haven’t seen the sea yet.

    thats Freedom [maybe[.

Went a few years ago, really enjoyed it. Even the missus (who initially shrugged her shoulders at the idea) was impressed and surprised how good it was.

What amazed me was getting into the early WW1 tanks, where they basically sat around the engine. Made you realise what a really noisy hot environment it was with risks of CO poisoning etc.

Hats off to those guys, they just got on with the job, don't make them like that anymore.

Let's hope John was just visiting... btw John if you read this in the next few hours I'll be at Bournemouth Kawasaki in the morning. Pop in and have a cuppa - assuming you haven't booked in to the hospital......
