    starter chain tensioner setting ?

    hi I have got hold of this Manuel chain tensioner all looks good just wondering what sort of tension should it be set at ...if anyone can help thanks in advance

    Whos pete and what does his system look like ? personally i like the fact that the alloy block is fixed with two bolts rather than a single bolt as on the other system I have seen and it does not use the little spring that I have seen fail on some bikes .

    Crude but looks workable. To evaluate take into consideration how long it was in service already and examine slider wear.
    With round head on the bolt in situ adjustment looks like challenge. There is no good way to hold the bolt while torquing lock nut. Hopefully torquing can be done with assembly removed.
