    Shed n buried

I got my bench and built it on Saturday my vice turned up at the same time.
the bench is superb for less than £70,it will be easy to replace the top in the future.

a lot of tough screws to assemble it,but thanks to Terry RSVR Rex it was no problem with the drills he gave me some years ago [2 batteries so no stopping].
i could not of done it manually,it hurt my hand as it was.

the paramo vice is a real find, they started manufacture in WW2 in case record got bombed,itís the equal old and in lovely condition.

I moved the bench in tonight,itís slow going.
everything on the industrial racking is mechanical or Rex related.

I put a few tools I am likely to use with the vice on the bench

no electricity, but I have beer in the kitchen fridge not 20 feet away [though it’s more likely to be tea].

Anyone passing oxfords welcome to stop for a cuppa or to use tools if you need a minor repair

It’s screwed down for now,I am going to bolt it to a heavy piece of wood [then bolt wood to bench top] so I can put the jaws of the vice forward of the bench.

no room for the Rex and hard to get out.

Looks well organized. I spotted single piece of kit that we share. IKEA steps, handy for getting high hanging tools....

We'll done john, get some garage security now!!!!
Several locks on the door, security screws on the hinges and screen the windows to stop prying eyes.
An audible alarm is also good, £50 should cover it.
One more and you get a big kiss

Bolted down but not as secure as I would like.
i wanted the jaws forward of the bench,it gives the vice the ability to hold long items vertical.
as thereís no overhang you are restricted on how you can bolt it.

I've also got a solar light bulb, led battery lamb and car battery with lamp as back up.
