    ZZR MANUAL Fuel Tap...........Question ????

Can I ask anyone who has done this mod (replacing the standard ZRX vac tap for a ZZR manual tap) to confirm which direction the ARROW on the tap is pointing when your tap is in the OFF position ??

I have done the mod on my ZRX and the arrow on my tap is pointing TOWARDS the engine when in the OFF position.
Arrow UP is meant to be ON and DOWN is meant to be reserve.?

I think my OFF position maybe incorrect, as its not going onto reserve at all, it just empties the whole tank .............

    Any advice appreciated !

Mine is definitely "on" when its turned up as i did a bit of a trial when trying to recover a bolt that had got in there

That said, my tap faces the back sir

Thanks Nige.................I think due to me building the tap with the arrow pointing TOWARDS the engine in the OFF position, my UP position must actually be reserve ???

Easy to remedy Pete as with an empty tank remove the two screws on the face plate and turn it 180 degrees............................or indeed, just turn it down for on

You know what Nige..............that actually makes a whole lot of sense, as MOST manual taps are DOWN for ON and UP for RESEREVE anyway............

If you fit a standard ZZR1200 tap to the Rex and use the Rex knob. Up is ON. Down is RES. Horizontal towards your knee is OFF.

If you put the ZZR smilely face in your ZRX tap and block the vacuum port. You'll have an oem manual tap. Up RES down ON prime OFF.
