Seems someone has taken inspiration from Pete's

Personally i would go with the real thing (and this one wont attract big postage or customs charges)

I originally bought two from Pete. But have needed another four as the bikes mounted. Like you say their pretty simple so ended buying a small piece of ally bar and the dome head bolts. Took them to a small engineering shop and he made some up for me.

Any idea what dimensions for alloy i like the make my own stuff if possible.
40 for a small alloy block and a couple of bolts is steep enough.
    Thanks fellas.

I made one for my old GPz , i used the original tensioner as a template for bolt pitch and dimensions.

Alloy block , two mounting bolts , tensioning bolt and locknut so pretty simple really.

The reason i did not offer any for sale is that i was not going to be responsible for anyones motor going pop should it be through a manufacturing fault or a fitting fault masquerading as a manufacturing fault. Peoples interpretation of a wee nip or a baw hair can differ massively causing sheared bolts and mechanical mayhem.

Flaming Nora Nige, that 1st one that's on fleashbay looks a bit crude, certainly no where near as neat as Pete's, I suppose you get what you pay for, (peanuts & monkeys spring to mind)....
