    float bowl rubber seal

    stripped the 1100 carbs today and found the red what ever it is on the rubber seals on the float bowls. .this was on my 1200 as well.any one know what it is would'nt think it is sealer.wondered if it is dried rubber grease.

    Pinky was the same and thought it was just some clappy Japanese sealer

    probably red rubber grease to keep them in place when refitting...
