    Clutch cover ...

I'm in process of trying to take clutch cover off... undone all bolts but can't get it to release even after persuasion.
Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.
If anyone local which could assist be fantastic. I'm in Eccles.

Not doubting, just asking but you 100% sure all the bolts are out

That said, it doesn't take much to make them hold on for dear life

Gentle taps with a hide or dense rubber mallet usually does the trick so i wonder if the previous owner has used a jointing compound like stag or even worse if it has got in the dowels at which point it will be challenging.

Can you see the gasket as you maybe able to get a blade in there to ease it away

I've a bad feeling it's got a compound in it as it won't budge. I can see gasket cover, on top of that the casing has chipped at top 😕

Looking at the cover, at about 8 on the clock face there's a lip. So you can get something behind to pry the cover off. There's no locating dowels on the clutch cover, shouldn't need more than a couple of thwaks with a rubber mallet.
