    oil vapor

    all you chaps with k&n type filters on your crankcase breathers do you get a lot of oil vapour coming out of them.cheers

    I haven't noticed any more than any other bike I have. It can't be helped getting some oil vapour, that's why people use catch tanks etc on cars and why the manufacturers feed it to the air box so the vapour goes through the pistons to be burnt off.

    If it's excessive I'd maybe consider looking into it, but how much are we talking? Don't forget at this time of year you'll most likely see some condensation now and again in the cold air.

    I had some too... never got around to it but probably nicer to run a hose up the tailpiece and put the filter in there, should eliminate most dampness
    ships get called 'she'
    I bet torpedoes don't
