    SEAFOAM

Just thought I'd offer up my experience of SEAFOAM.

After advice from some other members (Nige etc....thank you all) I have used SEAFOAM this winter after suffering some sort of carb/fuel issues nearly every year during the cold season.

Poured a suitable amount of SEAFOAM into a 3/4 filled tank of fuel a few weeks ago and left bike under cover.

Came to start it today and it cracked up on the button straight away and ran sweet as a nut while I left it to warm everything.

So without wanting to jinx myself it appears that this stuff is very good.

IF (and its a big 'if') the bike survives the winter and comes out the other side without any issues (fuel wise!) it will be a first in 4 years and IF it does I will be a SEAFOAM convert !!

    :-)

Been using it for a while now mainly during the winter but still put a bit in in the summer to keep the carbs clean.

Cheapest i got it was from ebay @ just over 8 squids per tin but had to bulk buy

If you are buying singular then the best ball park figure is circa 12 from any of the suppliers (have only seen it on the bay TBH)

would it by chance unstick a sticky float? Or am I going to have to take the carbs off again?

Went to fire mine up today for a quick whizz round the block and i've got a sticky float and its running on 3 cylinders.... its not been fired up for 3 weeks, although is in a dry garage...

Sadly i doubt it albeit it wouldn't harm it

this is cheapest ive seen but when you try and buy the delivery charge cost nearly doubles the cost so ebay at about 12 all in still better imo.
