    New Rexer

Hi everyone, first of many posts for me hopefully. I am soon to be a ZRX 1200s owner. I have been looking for a while for an R but without much luck, all either a bit too pricey or a bit too rough. So I’m looking at buying a very nice low miles 2003 1200s in Red with a view to convert to an R (in the fastest colour) over the winter.
I’ve been a Z1 owner and Z1OC member for a number of years having restored quite a few early Zeds in that time but I’m now going to buy and enjoy something I can actually ride and not be worried about devaluing it by a grand or so if it ever rained during a ride out!
Anyway that’s the plan and should be purchasing the Rex tomorrow and looking forward to a bit of tinkering over the next few months. So just like to introduce myself and become a full member soon in order to take advantage of the vast knowledge and experience of the guys and girls on this forum.
    Cheers Dave.

    Welcome Dave,
Thought you would be along on here soon enough !!
Will watch your efforts with interest as usual.
Hopefully should have some pics or info to help you - as mine was only rebuilt recently.
