Thumbs down to Cupar Motorcycles in Fife who took 300sovs to service the Rex and never noticed a colapsed hub bearing. When challenged about it they said "we never charged you to replace it ", Well I guess that makes it ok then. Glad I never got them to replace the Brakeline then

Recentley saw an add for blueflame exhausts which stated buying from them was hassle free. I would disagree....I had loads of hassle trying to get my money back when the can was delivered late and damaged. It took best part of a month to get refund and I had to do all the chasing (over 20 phone calls and about 5 emails).

They always say the best way to find out whether a company is customer friendly is to talk to someone whose had a complaint - well in blueflames case all I can say is they have a poor attitude towards customers who are returning products.

Now im sure some of you out there are running blue flame cans and i dont want to start an argument about how good or bad they are, im simply letting you know that when i had a problem with a damaged can the customer service was poor.

Ive had cans from quill, arrow and devil in the past and the only time i needed to contact one of them was when the bolts supplied with a quill can were missing and they suppplied them next day delivery and included a free t-shirt.

Blueflame were unhelpfull, passed the buck from dept to dept and took time sorting out a refund.

I also thought the can was no where near the quality of cans by quill or devil...but thats a personal opinion.

If you have a blueflame can and have no problems with delivery or returns then cool.

Re: Thumbs Down - Old Dominion Freight in Orlando, Florida

In September this company shipped my bike (no scratches anywhere according to photos take by the dealer) and got to me sideways in the crate. Now it is April 2006 and no action!

Broken fairing and craked rear tail piece. So far they will not own up to anything. Found some shipping loopholes.

Give a big boo.......... to them and if in the UK do not bother with them.

Thumbs down Re: Thumbs Down - Suppliers who get it wrong.

    Carole Nash Break down......

Am NOT impressed! First thing I did was tell the bimbo girl on the 'phone that I was a girl on a bike, alone, middle of nowhere (well, busy layby) and it was getting dark. Didn't know the road no. but tried to explain as best I could for what seemed like 15 mins...but was probably a lot less...ha.. Not sure if she put me on hold for ages or cut me off......but she did not ring back. Then I rang again and at this point was getting really agitated! If she hadn't been so effing useless my patience would not have worn out.....I ended up saying "are you going to do anything about this or am I gonna tell everyone I can how f***ing useless Carole Nash are?" At which point she told me she would "terminate the call", and that was it. Great.

    I then rang the AA.

Incidentally the AA guy picked up straight away where I was from my description!

(Oh...when I got the bike running....the AA and Carole Nash were informed ASAP (just in case they gave a ****)....but low and behold ...Carole Nash did not bother to inform the sub-contractor....so he had a wasted journey!)

Am now looking to change my bike insurance.

Carole Nash used to use one of the big 2 breakdown companies (the one with 3 letters) but decided to go elsewhere to cut costs!

Ordered block off pplates form them so I didn;t have to wait for them to arrive from America. took my money on June 30th, July 8th no plates so I phoned him. "I don't actually have them in stock, they should be here next week some time." Tosser.
Edit, 3rd august, no block off plates, no contact, is this bloke a fucking idiot or something ?
Edit 11th August , just phoned him. Didn't have a clue what I was talking about, evetually found my details, said he's ordering from Ivan's on Monday. Asked for a refund but he reckons he hasn't charged me yet. I should fucking hope not. I won't ever be going back to him for anything. what a wanker.

The Fastone a.k.a MandP, ordered Swift boots & trousers, they sent Swift boots & AKITO trousers, gets on the phone to them, tells them they're wrong, dickhead says "have you tried them on?"," no" says me "how do you know they don't fit then?" the clown asks me!
Seemed to have difficulty with the premise that when i ordered Swift trousers, i actually wanted Swift bloody trousers!!!!!!!

JapscrapUK, these are ebay tyre sellers.
Advertised a set of Michelin pilot sports and the title said 190/50 while hidden in the text it said the sizes were 180/55, Well when you do a search, it's always on the title. Anyway when I said they sent the wrong size they washed their hands of it saying they were correctly supplied.
