    Thumbs down Thumbs Down - Suppliers who get it wrong.

    NOTE: Any FULL member with at least 20 posts is welcome to add their comments to this thread.

    Suppliers as in the title of this thread can be taken as suppliers of goods or services including sales, afterservice, repairs and accessories or anything motorcycle related such as clothing and helmets.

    Many of us have had dealings with people who had provided a poor service and haven't delivered what is known as "customer satisfaction"
    These companies/individuals deserve to be named and shamed. Please add constructive comments (This is a public forum so please refrain from use of strong language) regarding your experiences below and for ease of reference I shall edit this post and list the recipients of the below.

    (To get the ball rolling I'll add one of my own comments as an example)

    BUSTER`S..I PAID FOR A RADCOVER WITH ZRX LOGO AT THE B.M.F. ON 21/05/05 & I STILL NOT GOT IT & THAT WAS [7] WEEKS AGO I THINK IM GOING TO GET INTUCH WITH THE M.S.N.TO SEE IF THAY WILL TAKE IT UP FOR ME

    Always get this so when a couple of months back they offered a Shark lid for taking out a sub and as it happens was gonna get one for the Mrs anyway. (you know what its like start with matching lids then go onto matching jackets then a Gold Wing). decided to go for it.

    Got letter yesterday, oh sorry out of that size have a rucksack instead.

    there again suppose I could just stick th rucksack on her head.

    Orderd & Paid for tyre 23 July from Busters, Swansea 2nd September still waiting !

    Failed MOT small cracks in side walls & they spotted it cant get tax .

    23 July next week
    next week delivery next week
    nxnxtweek none in the country waiting them in from Italy
    nxnxnxtweek Italy out of stock & they never told us could be in our delivery next week
    nxnxnxnxweek try tele sales they might be able to tell you going for refund tomorrow

    Went to suzuki dealer " never stocked this size tyre what the hells it off ?

    SMC in southampton..... boy did they get it wrong...gone bust liquidation, no longer ,it,s a dead motorcycle shop

    Damaged tank on bike 12 months ago still waiting for paint job ! Mechanics are useless broke my tail piece thoght it was in three pieces had to replace it after I prooved they had done it !

    Streetfighters got it wrong. First I ordered a part and it was the wrong one (even included by make, model, year). Then 2 weeks go by and I hear nothing after returning the wrong part. So I call them today and she says "yeah I have your wrong part" ........ and I am like, "well please send the right one"...... "oh yeah, okay".

    Streetfighters.com got it wrong on bar ends by taking over 4 weeks to get here.

    Recentley saw an add for blueflame exhausts which stated buying from them was hassle free. I would disagree....I had loads of hassle trying to get my money back when the can was delivered late and damaged. It took best part of a month to get refund and I had to do all the chasing (over 20 phone calls and about 5 emails).

    They always say the best way to find out whether a company is customer friendly is to talk to someone whose had a complaint - well in blueflames case all I can say is they have a poor attitude towards customers who are returning products.

    Now im sure some of you out there are running blue flame cans and i dont want to start an argument about how good or bad they are, im simply letting you know that when i had a problem with a damaged can the customer service was poor.

    Ive had cans from quill, arrow and devil in the past and the only time i needed to contact one of them was when the bolts supplied with a quill can were missing and they suppplied them next day delivery and included a free t-shirt.

    Blueflame were unhelpfull, passed the buck from dept to dept and took time sorting out a refund.

    I also thought the can was no where near the quality of cans by quill or devil...but thats a personal opinion.

    If you have a blueflame can and have no problems with delivery or returns then cool.
