    ZRX1100 Can / Silencer onto a ZRX1200R

Is it possible to fit a ZRX1100-C3 aftermarket Silencer / Can onto a ZRX1200R ?

If YES.............then what needs to be done to make it fit ?

    Thanks

    Pete

Your wasting your time with standard cans I'm afraid.
Even if you slot the flange at the back of the 12 headers the welded on bracket on the 11 can will not line up with the passenger peg.
And visa versa putting a standard 12 can on 11 headers.

Thanks for reply......................but I already have a non standard can off a ZRX1100 and wanted to know if I can fit or modify it to fit a ZRX1200R ?

This can has a strap for fitting to the hanger.

    Sorry missed the "aftermarket".
Yes you can fit it by slotting the flange.

    Thanks mate.

Is that "slot" the holes in the flange on the 4 into 1 pipe itself or the can..............or both ?

    Is there much difference ?

    Thanks

You need to slot the holes on the flange, just enough to allow the can to revolve into the correct position without the spout being on the piss.
You dont need to do anything to the can itself.
If you offer it up, its self explanatory what you have to do.

    Er...............problems here...............

Looking from the back of the bike, the ZRX1100 flange (welded onto the 4 into 1) has 3 holes.
2 are at the top of the flange and 1 at the bottom.

The ZRX1200R has 1 hole at the top and 2 at the bottom................so completely the wrong way round for fitting the ZRX1100 can ?

Or am I missing something here ?

Drill new holes in the correct position.
