Annoying buzz and clunk from front end

    Hi
Had the REx 3 weeks now and love it! there is an annoying buzz and clunk from front end which appears to be the mudguard and a lot of buzzing from the fairing. Any pointers as to what needs to be done?
    TIA

Clunk is probably the pads in the calipers , buzz will be something touching

    behind the fairing most likely.

Btw check the bolts are tight on the rhs removable frame rail.

If you have no joy , I am in Guildford if you want a second opinion .

Ive had both of those problems the buzz was the headlight adjuster spring behind the cowl and the clunk was from the head stock which needed adjusting even though i couldn't feel any play in it by hand n it had passed the m.o.t

As for the buzzing, I would check the condition/tightness of the rubber well nuts that the fairing connects to (especially the ones under the headlight) and those that the screen bolts to (they shouldn't be that tight/flat that there is no effect of rubber isolation left in them) so either back them off and gently tighten or if they are flat (ie no sponginess in them) replace them and don't overtighten them.

Can you give us more details? Does the clunk happen when you brake or is it a constant tapping/buzzing, if its the latter then it will be those shite six potters.
