The rehash of the history and the spiel about not being used to multi cylinder bikes make me think its just been totally neglected. Even if all that was OK the mileage indicates that a fair bit of stuff will need doing.
Thanks for this info appreciated 😊

not wanting to introduce another element into the mix but have you looked at the CB400? I know its a H*nd* but..... we had a ZRX400 and it wasn't the best of bikes (may have just been it) sold it and my wife got a CB40SF (as she doesn't like the weight of my 1100) and its a little cracker, this is the 3rd or 4th I've ridden and not had a bad one yet, low seat like the ZRX nice power delivery etc, I actually have another non runner in the garage at present which I'm slowly rebuilding and fixing

If I remember rightly as a long time since I uploaded to here - If you go to the line of icons on your post there is one like a wee picture which when you hover it says insert image (4th from the right hand side), click on that and then it will take you to a box that says upload either from PC or URL, click browse at the bottom and go to your pc and browse for the picture you want and click upload, or if you have it in a photobucket account you can go that way with the link icon. Well done on getting one
