    Only seen this post now..............if you are talking about your current black/red Rex.............then I replaced the friction plates with OE before I sold it to DFD aka NRD!

    I saw that after I was planning to plop a set of OEM in Good oil helps shifting too.
    ships get called 'she'
    I bet torpedoes don't

    I got my new clutch plates and disks off ebay.

    Much cheaper than dealer.

    Many other Kawa's use same part numbers so easy to search by part number for a deal, rather than by model.

    Use bike specific fully or semi-synth.

    If it needs new frictions, go for OEM. I tried the EBCs, and although they are as good as OEMs for high power, they are grabby at low rev pull aways...quite unpleasant in traffic.

    If you have big power (150+), then OEM plates with stiffer EBC or Barnet springs work well. This worked well on my 162bhp 1224.
