"what you rebelling against johnny, What you got?"
the col d'allos was closed when i arrived.
A group of Germans i had overtaken earlier arrived as i was looking at the map,we [mostly them] decided to risk it [massive detour otherwise] turned out they where re surfacing the road, the French workers let us squeeze through.
I was fully laden with panniers etc. and reduced ground clearance they where lightweight on a day trip.
I go with the flow when on a road trip take things a...s they come. I really enjoyed this riding in a group for once and on a empty Col a real luxury.
several videos if they dont bore you to much!
ps i only realised where i was as its written on the road for the tour of France.

    Good man John, enjoy yourself.

a few years ago we had a thing to find the oldest rexer. I think the member concerned was in his 70s, hopefully he's still with us And if he isn't , the 'body of an 80 year old' comment got me thinking. Who is the top now?

    I'm 61 btw <yikes>
