    keeps you busy

I have too much experience with aftermarket radiators. Only Original ones fit without problems for me, the delkevic and chinese ones are too thick material, so you'll need to either grind down the tabs or change the Original fittings. The chinese one broke in 3 points after 2k miles, the delkevic was ok after 3k... then I sold the bike.

my delkevic lasted till just out of its warrantly, then split - They had sent me a number of them until I got one that actually fitted.

Im back on the (repaired) original and the bike runs cooler with it.

I will spend the money getting the original repaired rather than buy another cheapy......

    Re: Radiator choices

I got a Chinese radiator 2 or 3 years ago. It went on perfectly and is still intact and is still in the same condition as it went on (but less clean). I think I have done 10-15,000 miles since.
It replaced a Delkevic that lasted not much more than a year. I asked a local radiator man about repairs and he said that it wasn't worth it and that the Chinese ones were the way to go for a cheap replacement. Their manufacturing processes had come on in tbe last few years and qualitly is now excellent.

I saw one of these fail two weeks ago and it had been fitted less than one year!

It all depends on what you want to pay measured against your type of use with your Rex.
If you want to have total peace of mind there are only 2 options an OE Kawasaki Radiator or one of Kwicks http://kwickstand.net/Hyper-Formance..._Radiator.html
You maybe lucky with one of the others BUT that is all it is luck!

Yup, but at £60 - £100 (instead of 4 or more times that!), you can afford to take a punt

The reason for the standard, and more so Kwick's, is the looks, finish, etc - not whether or not it will fail!

It's a bit like engine oil, whatever suits your purpose and budget, I guess!

    Arsebiscuits.

Ordered a radiator before I came away on holiday so it was there when got back, just got an email from them "Am Automotive" on eBay cancelling the sale as they have ran out.

    Buggerbollocksfeck.

    Time to order another.

Forgot to say previously, my brass thingy from tank/tap also came out when I removed damaged fuel hose, is this a push fit thing or have I fecked that too! Lol
