    Well that was three yrs ago. Still no leak.
    By the way went with Kendo's stepped stud solution.
    Probably last the life of the engine.

    Nobody pointing what to take home from this situation. Having drill stop is a must. Marking drill bit may not work for many reasons. Physical drill stop is the was to go.

    I would send it to Kenny thatís one hell of an offer and it will be better than new.

    I snapped a stud trying to remove my Akra some years ago,as it wasnít blowing and passed MOT I left well alone.
    its the reason I will have to leave the Akra on when I sell the bike though.
