Theyre not REAL Ohlins. . . just rebadged Yamaha items.
Stock ZRX shocks are better. . .

Im aware that yamaha bought ohlins and the shocks might not be up to scratch, but as im going to have the shocks rebuilt just interested in which one's to use?
    I cant afford real ohlins

Stock ZRX shocks in reasonable condition are better that rebuilt, or new XJR "Ohlins". . .

Theyre also the correct height for the ZRX.

Because some owners in the past have had said shocks on their zrx's and found the bike to be lower and I have a xjr1300sp and the shocks are short than my zrx's, but if ur going to keep them and u want a little extra height at the rear then u can turn the eccentric adjusters to give u an extra inch

    Re: rear shocks

Iv'e googled till im blind but i cant find any info to really define which are the best standard shock as every forum swears by there make eg ask an gsx1400 owner and he will say his shocks, an obviously us rex owners might be a bit biased, gonna have to ring round a few suspension people see what they suggest as a good place to start, unless anyone know where i can lay my hands on some cheap ohlins/wp/hyperpro etc
