    that helmet lock

I have to take an extra lid somewhere, just out of interest has anyone tried riding with an old lid locked on? I could tighten the straps it right up so there was very little play... just don't want it knocking into anything unsuitable...

In my younger days I have ridden with a spare lid attached to the lock and the loose end of the strap tied around the seat grab strap 9do they still make bikes with these?) but i'd go with Maxx's idea of a cargo net option or maybe pop it into a large rucksack.

Cargo net, so much easier and packs into the lid if you've got to carry it. It's what I use when picking up the kids or Pixie if they've not got helmets with them.

Put your arm through the neck and out through the visor opening. It fits on your elbow. Old school

If you can still get your foot on the peg I reckon the under seat helmet lock would be a better bet than the back one. Deffo if it's raining. Don't trust them Cargo nets personally. Too wobbly IMHO.

but the cargo net's a good option imo, maybe with a couple of bungee's to steady it??
